Faits marquants

David Nalbandian reprend la compétition après près de 10 mois d'absence. L'ancien n^o 3 mondial était absent depuis mai 2009 en raison d'une opération de la hanche, qui l'avait contraint à renoncer aux trois derniers tournois du Grand Chelem en 2009, ainsi qu'à l'Open d'Australie 2010. Redescendu à la 140^e place mondiale, il passe deux tours avant de déclarer forfait pour son 1/4 de finale contre Albert Montañés.
Juan Carlos Ferrero remporte le tournoi en simple en s'imposant en finale contre David Ferrer. Il emporte son 14^e titre ATP en simple.
En double, Sebastián Prieto et Horacio Zeballos s'imposent en finale face à Simon Greul et Peter Luczak. Il s'agit du 10^e titre en double pour Prieto et du premier pour Zeballos.
