THRIVE Magazine is a national American plant-based print and digital magazine focusing on vegan recipes, global foodies, wellness and nutrition, in circulation nationally since March 2013.

Launched by publisher Maranda Pleasant in 2013, THRIVE is a food magazine focused on a plant-based lifestyle, known for creating each issue as a vegan cookbook with more than 75 recipes each issue. THRIVE is carried in all major grocery stores chains, Target Corporation, Walmart, Barnes and Noble, and Costco in the U.S. THRIVE was built leveraging social media foodies and recipe developers/photographers, bridging a gap between social media and the printed page. In its first year, THRIVE featured Joaquin Phoenix, Moby, Tony Hawk, Serena Williams, Landon Donovan, Teri Hatcher and Paul McCartney on its earlier covers, before transitioning to primarily a food-focused and wellness publication. THRIVE regularly appears on Grace and Frankie, a popular Netflix show featuring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. THRIVE helped orchestrate a 40-city music/yoga/wellness tour, SoulShine, with musicians Michael Franti, SOJA[1], and Brett Dennen in 2014. In 2017 THRIVE threw Moby's 50th Birthday Party in West Hollywood, bringing together animal and food lovers[2]

The founding editor in chief of THRIVE is Maranda Pleasant. She has also founded several other national magazines including Mantra Wellness Magazine[3], and ORIGIN Magazine[4], a design[5] and women's lifestyle publication, in 2010. Pleasant was named a 'Hyper Achieving Entrepreneur' by CBS News in 2014[6], and was a regular speaker at the Social Good Summit[7] in New York, and in conversation/partnership with the United Nations Foundation to amplify the presence and support of humanitarian non-profits, for the publication. Pleasant created street art projects around the globe in conjunction with her publications, most notably covering the streets of Paris during Fashion Week in 2017 with more than 40,000 posters, covered by Upworthy[8], on the names/labels that society uses to suppress/oppress women. The campaign featured notable Oscar-winning/nominated actresses and grammy-winning musicians and the words they were bullied with, with a manifesto for a fem uprising. She is regular speaker at SXSW[9], and global conferences championing the rights of women, animals and artistic freedom in design[10]. Her work with Ian Somerhalder[11] featured a national viral cover, with a call to raise awareness for saving the planet, Generation Extinction. In 2014, she joined Sir Richard Branson on Necker Island, for a round table discussing the future of the oceans, as part of the Ocean Elders dialogue[12]
