Biography

Frédéric Junck (Born April 23 , 1961 , in France) is a French-Brazilian entrepreneur. Arrived in Brazil in 1985 and naturalized Brazilian in 1994, he is the founder and current CEO of FOR RESULTS, a communication agency specialised in digital solutions headquartered in São Paulo. He is also the support office manager of two private equity funds : Inflexion (UK) and MBO Partenaires (France). Since 2015, he has been appointed President of the French Advisors of Foreign Trade in Brazil (CCEF). He is married to Sylvie Junck, a interior home designer, and has two sons and one daughter : Martin who is an entrepreneur and graduated from INSPER, her younger brother graduated from the same school and is now working for a Private Equity and Alexia who is doing currently MacGills in Canada. Education After studying a Bachelor in Economics at Université Paris X, he went to the IUT of Sceaux, one of the best in France. He then enrolled in ISERP, from which he graduated a Master in Marketing in 1985.


Career

Frédéric Junck started his career in Brazil by founding SPA Auto Center in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. He developed and sold a network of 5 automotive services shops. In 1994, he worked as a general manager of Saint Gobain Glazing Division, the worldwide leader in habitat solutions which designs, manufactures and distributes materials. Until 1997, he launched a company specialized in double glazing as well as PVC windows in the Brazilian market. At the same time, he managed the transition from a commodity company to a value added services company. In 1997, he decided to create its own company: FOR RESULTS. It is an advertising company with major customers including Decathlon, VIVO, Droga Raia, AXA … Today, the company is recognized for its professionalism and expertise in advertising campaign and consulting. Frédéric has been joined by three other partners: Nicolas Queyroux, a French entrepreneur specialized in digital services in 2011, Paula Méléga, a marketing specialist who worked at FOR RESULTS since 2003 and become a partner in 2012, and Milton Cebola, the agency art director since 2017 and who worked for the famous communication agency McCann.

Frédéric also used its network to start or accelerate business activities in Brazil. This is why In 2013, with its strong network of professional contacts, Frédéric was named support office manager of two private equity funds: Inflexion Private Equity - based in London - and MBO Partenaires - in Paris. Frédéric and his team help foreign businesses establishing in Brazil, providing a range of support service and market entry strategies.



Distinctions


CCEF

In May 2008, Frédéric integrated the French Advisors of Foreign Trade (CCEF). Fréderic Junck has been chosen for its identity of entrepreneur and his high knowledge on Brazilian socio-economic and political situations.

The CCEF is the official network of private business appointed by the Prime Minister of France. Members share their Brazilian experiences on a voluntary basis and four meeting are organized each year. Indeed

In 2014, Frédéric was named President of the CCEF due to his personal qualities (entrepreneur and human values), his disponibility and his expertise in Brazilian business.


Chevalier de la légion d’honneur

In March 2017, Frédéric Junck received the prestigious “Légion d’honneur” during the latest CCEF meeting in Curitiba. He has been rewarded for his commitment for Franco-Brazilian alliance.


French Tech in Sao Paulo

Frédéric Junck and his partner Nicolas Queyroux are both involved and great contributors to the new Sao Paulo French Tech Hubs. In 2014, the first French Tech Hubs was created. It results from the will of the French government to build a French Hub in each country where French expatriated entrepreneurs are present.

In the era of digital communication, physical structure is not anymore needed to work, which explains why only a Facebook page has been created. Announced events will gather the community in order to promote investments and businesses among French and Brazilian startups. They will receive a financial support of the bank public Box of Deposits-Bpifrance (the equivalent of BNDES and Finep)- besides Business France’s support.

Truly Brazilian

When Frédéric came to Brazil, he directly felt in love with the country and « o jeito brasileiro » (the way how Brazilians and Brazilian life are). Arrived in 1985 in Brazil, he got the Brazilian nationality ten years after. Today, he proudly presents himself as a Franco-Brazilian entrepreneur. He has always enjoyed strengthening business relations between France and Brazil by helping people and “dar um jeito” (makes things work) for the companies he was working for.


Sport and travel addict

Initiated to sailing by his father when he was younger, he always loves it. Between 1973 and 1975, he realized the Amiral’s Cup with his father, did the Cap Horn with 7 of his friends and also the Cowes. He had to stop when he came in Brazil, but right after he started to practice Kitesurf for its pleasure. He also like driving motorcycle and did a lot of travels. For example, he crossed the Cordillera of the Andes, the Salar of Uyuni, the Atacama desert several times. He also passed through Salvador, Himalaya and the region of Ladack in India. He made the United States and several trips Europe like the tour of the French island Corsica. Regularly, Frederic plays tennis and golf as he practices yoga several times a week.


Entrepreneur

After funding SPA Auto Center in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, he launched a company specialized in double glazing as well as PVC windows in the Brazilian market and then decided to create its own company: FOR RESULTS, today FOR-Focus On Results. For 30 years, he is convinced by the idea of a promising Brazil and do not miss any idea to embrace this dynamic market.
