Intentions de votes chez les francophones modifier

 

Le Parti libéral du Québec perd une part considérable de ses appuis dans l'électorat francophone dans les mois suivants son élection. À l'inverse, le Parti québécois renforce son avance et recuille régulièrement 50 % et plus des intentions de vote parmi les francophones. L'ADQ se renforce en 2004-2005 au point de dépasser le PLQ dans plusieurs sondages à la mi-2005 avant de retourner en 3e place en 2006.

À partir de 2007 l'ADQ connait une forte progression dans l'électorat francophone au détriment - principalement - du PQ. Lors de la campagne électorale l'ADQ devient le parti recueillant le plus d'appuis dans l'électorat francophone (pour la première fois depuis 2002), reléguant le PQ au second rang et le PLQ au troisième.

Intentions de votes chez les non-francophones modifier

Le Parti québécois reçoit un niveau de support inhabituellement élevé parmi les électeurs non francophones au cours de la 37e législature. Le PQ recueille ainsi jusqu'à 28 % de support dans cet électorat en 2004 et 2005 avant de redescendre autour de 10 % en 2006 et 2007.
