- Pandinus militaris Pocock, 1900
Pandinoides militaris est une espèce de scorpions de la famille des Scorpionidae.
Distribution modifier
Cette espèce se rencontre en Éthiopie dans la zone Borena et la région Sidama[1], en Somalie dans les régions de Gedo, de Jubbada Hoose, de Shabeellaha Hoose et de Shabeellaha Dhexe et au Kenya[2].
Description modifier
La femelle holotype mesure 112 mm[3].
Les mâles mesurent de 98,9 à 123,4 mm et les femelles de 95,4 à 111,8 mm[2].
Systématique et taxinomie modifier
Cette espèce a été décrite sous le protonyme Pandinus militaris par Pocock en 1900. Elle est placée en synonymie avec Pandinoides cavimanus par Kovařík en 2002[4]. Elle est relevée de synonymie par Prendini en 2016[2].
