English -> French translation with a COI

I contribute regularly to the English Wikipedia in a public relations capacity, where I've helped bring the article on en:JMP (statistical software) up to the GA ("Good Article") rank. I've had the English language article translated into French in order to expand the French article and add proper sources. I was hoping an impartial editor would consider our work at: Utilisateur:CorporateM2/JMP if the proposed article translated from English is better than the current. Thanks in advance for your time. Hi, your version has been adopted. It has been since modified several times, but it seems to me that the core of your article is still there, what proves that what you wrote is correct according to Wikipedia (fr) criteria. We all thank you for doing that.

Thanks! I had read on the Wikiproject that the translation was poor and hand intended to fix that, but I'm presuming the copyedits were to correct that issue? I know that poor translations are a burden and apologize for contributing to that.

One other thing, if I have not asked for too much already. I would like to upload the logo and screenshots for the images that are on the English version, but it is difficult to navigate a Wiki in a foreign language. Is there any way I could get a link to the file upload page and the templates for non-free images (screenshots and logos)? I am going to be bold and teach you to fish rather than fishing again for you. Since you have an account, you may change the interface language at any time in the "preferences" tab. Just put English and you'll feel at home ! That's how I do it when I make edits in chinese or arabic (right... not very often though) and I can manage just fine :) Tell us if you are really stuck. Danke. From what I was reading, it doesn't look like the French Wiki has the same exceptions for non-free images of commercial software as we have on the English Wiki, so I just did the logo. Your help is much appreciated. Hopefully I will bring more GA translated articles to the French Wiki in the future, with fewer bumps. CorporateM (d) 5 juillet 2013 à 19:20 (CEST)
