Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse est une websérie en ligne de courts métrages animés par ordinateur produits par Arc Productions et Mattel[1]. La série a été diffusée à partir du et est disponible sur Barbie.com, YouTube[2]. Les épisodes sont aussi diffusés sur Netflix, de façon regroupée par thème, dans des épisodes de 23-24 minutes[3]. Deux numéros spéciaux furent diffusés sur Nickelodeon le 1er septembre 2013[4]. La série s'est clôturée le 25 novembre 2015[5]. Une nouvelle série tirée Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures fut diffusée le [6].
Synopsis modifier
La série de passe dans une version fictive de Malibu (Californie), États Unis où tous les habitants sont des poupées. Les poupées se comportent comme des humains, même si un certain nombre de gags du show est lié à leur nature de poupées. La série se concentre sur la vie de Barbie, ses amis, ses sœurs, son petit ami, Ken et de nombreux animaux. La série est présentée comme une parodie de reality show montrant des confessions des personnages entre les scènes.
