Paul.vaucher

English Paul Vaucher is born in Switzerland in 1975. He studied at the Swiss School of Osteopathy and graduated in 2001 before working as a clinician in a private group practice for eight years. He obtained a certificate of health law from the University of Neuchâtel in 2005 and studied at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where he obtained his Master in Science in Clinical Trials in 2008. He has worked as a research assistant and as a research collaborator at the Department of Ambulatory and Community Care at the University of Lausanne since 2001. He obtained his PhD in neuroscience in 2014 and is now working as a research collaborator at the University Hospital of Lausanne. His research topics have been clinical predictive rules, social epidemiology, deprivation, iron deficit, cerebral decline, and decision making.

Français Paul Vaucher est né à Genève en 1975. Il s'est formé en ostéopathie à l'Ecole Suisse d'Ostéopathie et a travaillé comme clinicien en cabinet de groupe pendant huit ans. Durant cette période, il a obtenu un certificat en droit de santé de l'Université de Neuchâtel, puis s'est formé en épidémiologie et recherche clinique dans une école préstigieuse de santé publique en Angleterre (Master en Science en recherche clinique). Il a également travaillé comme assistant puis collaborateur de recherche depuis 2001 à la Policlinique Médicale Universitaire de Lausanne. En 2014, il a obtenu son doctorat ès sciences de l'Université de Genève en neuroscience. Les sujets d'intérêt de Paul sont les règles cliniques prédictives, l'épidémiologie sociale, l'effet central du fer sur la fatigue, le déclin cérébral et les processus décisionnels.
