My name is Jörgen Backelin, I am a Swedish mathematician, and I'm mostly active on the Swedish and English wikipedias (or other wikimedia projects).

I write this in English, since my French is not very good. I did study French for three years in school, and I read French articles in mathematics without problem, and understand most of what I read about other subjects. You surely understand why. However, I'm happy if you answer in French.

Before the time of the unified login accounts, I wrote here as 130.237.198.137; and this still may happen, if I'm accidentally logged out.

  1. Here I instead probably should have used une forme subjonctif, but I've forgot all about how to form it
  2. whatever the word for prefering one thing to another was
