Jahz Armando modifier

Jahz Armando (They/Them) was born on the 6th of May, 1999. They’re a non-binary rapper, singer, actor and writer[1][2]. They have already released six singles & five music videos. They are currently preparing their first EP for release, while appearing in the second season of the critically acclaimed international TV Series "Gangs Of London”[3][4].


Aged 23, Jahz Armando moved to Paris on September 2017. Attracted from a very young age by writing and music, Jahz tried their hand at many artistic practices, starting with studying filmmaking at "EICAR" [5] after following various theater and film training courses at the "Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts", "The American Academy of Dramatic Arts" and the French Drama School "Le Laboratoire de l'Acteur"[6], which have all led them to interpret the main role of a feature film in Morocco before having the opportunity to write & direct three short films[7].

After years of struggle in the acting field in Paris, Jahz Armando decided to focus on music. Through various encounters, they began to record a large number of demos, mainly influenced by American hip-hop (Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler The Creator, Frank Ocean, 070Shake).

During the year 2020, several tracks were recorded with the producer Ezhen and mixed in New York by Ben Fusel at the "Manhattan Beach Recording studio". After various snippets posted on social media during the summer of 2020, Jahz Armando released their three first singles[8][9][10] in 2021 with Music Videos[11] directed by Fly Corcel, Hyuksoo Kim & Jahz Armando themselves[12].

Jahz Armando also had the opportunity to audition for the second season of the British TV Series "Gangs Of London”[13] for which Jahz Armando moved to London for more than seven months in total, becoming as used to the London Music Scene as they were to the Parisian one. They created the 101 Sessions, birthmark of their newly born Music & Film Production company named the 101 Playground[14].
