Des rumeurs ont couru selon lesquelles le titre Kiss You Back avait été coécrit et interprété par George Clinton, mais, en réalité, son nom apparaît dans les crédits en raison de l'usage du titre (Not Just) Knee Deep de Funkadelic. Cependant, il a activement participé à l'écriture et à l'enregistrement du morceau Sons of the P.

L'album s'est classé 23e au Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums[6] et 44e au Billboard 200[7] et a été certifié disque d'or le par la Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)[8].
