Répartition
modifierCette espèce vit en Afrique du Sud[1], en Namibie et au Botswana[2].
Description
modifierL'holotype de Psammophis leightoni[3] mesure 910 mm dont 270 mm pour la queue.
Étymologie
modifierCette espèce est nommée en l'honneur du docteur Gerald Rowley Leighton (1868–1953).
