Mahamuni Mayan modifier

Hi i'm from tamil wikipedia. and mayasuran are different persons. The article in Mahamuni mayan is only in tamil and english. So don't enclose mayasuran articles with Mahamuni mayan in languages column.

Mahamuni mayan is a poet, philospher etc in tamil sangam. The 12 classical texts created by mayan was mentioned in tamil wikipedia(as both in english and tamil). I request you to add the 12 classical texts created by mahamuni mayan in this wiki.

mayasuran is said as asura in mahabharatha. so don't confuse them as one person.--தென்காசி சுப்பிரமணியன்

Hello தென்காசி சுப்பிரமணியன்

A process has cancelled your deletion from the article ; yet I would like to understand your point. But first let me say that after due checking, I find that the article in French is a fair translation from the English WP, so that I see no reason to alter the current contents, unless you should provide us with valuable references. As for the confusion between Mahamuni mayan & mayasuran, the page does not claim the two characters are one and the same person, but that some people tend to assimilate one to the other. Frankly, I should prefer to have more personal information related to Mahamuni Mayan than to mix it with allusions to mayasuran ; and if you could provide me with the titles of the "12 classical texts created by mahamuni mayan", I should be glad to insert them in this page (or you can do it yourself as well) : quote references anyway.

one thing I want to repeat. I agree this is a translation from en wiki. But now if I click tamil article in language column it leads the page to mayasuran(மயாசுரன்) not to mayan(மயன்).

  1. mahamuni mayan = மயன் = mamuni mayan this article is only in tamil, francias and english.
  2. Maya (asura) = மயாசுரன் = mayasura

But your correction in mamuni mayan in language toolbar wrongly leads to maya (asura)(மயாசுரன்) in tamil so change that in to மயன் in tamil language toolbar and delete all other languages expect tamil and english.

Can you undestand my point?--தென்காசி சுப்பிரமணியன் (d) 1 novembre 2011 à 09:16 (CET)Répondre

The IW links have been corrected following your directions. Thanks for your feedback. Yours, --Verbex (d) 1 novembre 2011 à 09:34 (CET)Répondre
