I believe there was an associated music imprint, Paris: Alexandre, which published music for Orgues d'Alexandre between c.1850 and c.1876 (ca., ca., .... .... ... je suis pas sûr...) For example-- Amédée Méreaux composed several works for the orgue d'Alexandre which were published by Alexandre of Paris in 1861. I don't know at this moment if this publisher was created by or formally associated with Alexandre Père et Fils, but perhaps there is evidence of this- I haven't really tried to find out myself, even... (It would make sense that they would have a publishing arm, many instrument manufacturers have- in the United States several 19th-century music publishers started out exactly as music-publishing-branches of instrument-manufacturers-or-instrument-sellers (or both) (IMSLP's pages on music publishers mention this somewhat.)

(I used to be somewhat fluent in French but it seems that leaving this in English would be better than attempting to translate this into French and getting it completely wrong, which I believe would be the most likely result. I do apologize though...) Schissel (discuter) 17 janvier 2018 à 16:54 (CET)Répondre

Edit: Gallica-BNF has a number of items published by "Alexandre père et fils", or at least under that imprint. Schissel (discuter) 23 février 2019 à 14:43 (CET)Répondre
