Calditrichota

Les Calditrichota sont un embranchement (ou phylum, ou encore division) du règne des Bacteria. Son nom provient de Caldithrix qui est le genre type de cet embranchement[1].

Taxonomie modifier
Cet embranchement est proposé en 2017 par I.V. Kublanov sous le nom de « Calditrichaeota »[1]. Il est validé quatre ans plus tard par Oren et Garrity[2] après un renommage conforme au code de nomenclature bactérienne (le nom de l'embranchement devant être dérivé de celui de son genre type, en l'occurrence Caldithrix, par adjonction du suffixe -ota conformément à une décision de l'ICSP en 2021[3]).
Liste de classes modifier
En 2022 selon la LPSN (11 novembre 2022)[4] cet embranchement ne compte qu'une seule classe qui est de plus en attente de publication valide, les « Calditrichae » Kublanov et al. 2017.
Il inclut également un genre incertae sedis (positionnement taxonomique incertain) : Calorithrix Kompantseva et al. 2017.
