Le Siljan Ring est un cratère d'impact situé en Suède, dans la province de Borlänge^[1].

Le cratère Siljan possède un soulèvement central dont le diamètre fait entre 20 et 30 km. La dépression qui l'entoure est essentiellement recouverte de roches sédimentaires préservées de l'érosion ^[2].

Le cratère a été formé par l'impact d'une météorite au Dévonien, il y a 380 ± 4,6 millions d'années^[3]^,^[4]^,^[5]^,^[6].
