Biographie modifier

Amanuens (Hans) Folke Bergman est né dans la paroisse de Klara à Stockholm, en Suède. Il participe aux fouilles de Stora Torget à Visby en 1924-1926. De 1929 à 1935, il participe à l'expédition sino-suédoise dirigée par Sven Hedin (1865-1952). Il est surtout connu pour sa découverte du complexe funéraire de Xiaohe près de Lop Nor, en Chine, en 1934, suivant les indications de son guide Ördek. Une autre de ses trouvailles, les tablettes de bambou de Juyan de la dynastie Han (Mongolie intérieure, 1930), est connue pour son transport de Pékin à Hong Kong, puis aux États-Unis, et enfin à Taïwan, dans un effort de préservation pendant la guerre sino-japonaise[1],[2],[3].
