SOUTH CHINA SEA (April 9, 2017) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the “Black Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 4 approaches the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Wayne E. Meyer (DDG 108). The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled western Pacific deployment as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of U.S. 3rd Fleet.
