English: The amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) steams in the operation area of Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2008. RIMPAC is the world's largest multinational exercise scheduled biennially by the U.S. Pacific Fleet. Participants include the United States, Australia, Canada, Chile, Japan, the Netherlands, Peru, Republic of Korea, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
