| Description | Cabinet Card of a full length portrait of Kennedy Palmer in uniform, wearing a large sash and holding a gun. Inscription on front: Kennedy Palmer. Co. H. 13th Va. Inft. Vols Aped 17. 1861 to 1865. Inscription on back: Taken from old picture taken in Winchester-1861. Enlisted April 19th 1861. Served until wounded. July-4-1864. In prison from May 6th to Aug. 6th, 1862, on Pea patch Island (Fort Delaware.) Severely wounded at the capture Harper's Ferry July 4th, 1864 - on crutches about three years. Enlisted in my 17th year. Kennedy Palmer, (son of John Jared Palmer) Richmond, Va April, 1893; Returned to Miss Baughman.
