Plateau This is a decorative panel from either the pommel or cantle of a woman’s saddle. This ‘drop’ is rawhide with lazy stitched, glass, seed beads and red wool trade cloth edging, silver “buttons” or conchos and rawhide fringe decorate the bottom.
