English: Underneath Kohnstein Mountain, about 250 [V-2] missiles were found in various stages of completion on the Mittelwerk assembly line (S.I. Negative #75-15871).[1]

  • the A-4 rocket's combustion chamber. This photo was taken at the Central Works factory at Nordhausen, which was built underneath the Harz Mountains.[4]
