English: Swiss physicist Alain Kohler said he found this photo of a daguerreotype image of Frédéric Chopin in the private collection of a musician in Switzerland. It's believed to be only the second confirmed photographic image of the composer. According to Kohler, the originating daguerreotype was made around 1847 by Paris-based artist Louis-Auguste Bisson, who took the only confirmed photo of Chopin. (Institut Polonais Paris)
