These were quite plentiful in the heating ducts under the floor of the deserted church in East Lydford! Nature always finds a way to fill a space. Unfortunately, they move so fast that by the time I'd lifted the twigs into a better position for the camera, they'd buggered off. This was the only one that hung around... I do like these springtails. The lack of pigment and the fact that they're so often living in the dark just endears themselves to me somehow. And there's something always fun about crawling around in dark caves and cellars. The heating ducts were no different really!
