Director Harold French (left) gives final instructions to the actors on the set of 'Unpublished Story' at Denham Film Studios. The stars of the Two Cities Film Company film, Richard Greene and Valerie Hobson, can just be seen listening to Harold French amongst a group of Auxiliary Film Service extras. In the right foreground, the continuity girl can be seen, keeping track of the proceedings.
This photograph was scanned and released by the Imperial War Museum on the IWM Non Commercial Licence. The image was catalogued by the IWM as created for the Ministry of Information, which was dissolved in 1946. Consequently the image and faithful reproductions are considered Crown Copyright, now expired as the photograph was taken prior to 1 June 1957.
