Problèmes

- Les contributeurs qui utilisent Firefox pour faire des modifications avec l’éditeur visuel rencontraient des problèmes lorsqu’ils copiaient du texte. En essayant de sélectionner du texte qui incluait des notes de bas de page, des modèles ou bien des images, il arrivait souvent que seule une partie du texte soit sélectionnée. Cela a été corrigé. - Il va devenir possible d’afficher une boite de confirmation de l’annulation de modifications sur la plupart des wikis. Cette boite de dialogue demande si vous souhaitez effectivement procéder à l’annulation, afin d’éviter des actes accidentels. Vous devrez l’activer pour la voir apparaitre. Sur Wikipédia en allemand, cette fonctionnalité sera activée par défaut à partir du 28 mars. [4][5]

Changements à venir
- Les administrateurs vont acquérir la capacité de bloquer des personnes spécifiques pour la modification d’une page ou d’un espace de noms. Cette fonctionnalité est déjà en place sur certains wikis Wikimédia. Des informations supplémentaires sont à votre disposition. Si votre wiki souhaite tester la fonctionnalité avant sa sortie, vous pouvez le dire aux développeurs. [6]
- Toolforge va fermer la grille de travail Ubuntu Trusty. Cela se produira durant la semaine du 25 mars. - La nouvelle version de l’outil de traduction de contenu sera utilisée pour toutes les nouvelles traductions. L’ancienne version sera encore utilisée pour les traductions qui ont été commencées avec elle. La plupart des utilisateurs ne verront pas de changement. Plus de 80 % des traductions publiées utilisent déjà la nouvelle version. [7]
Problèmes
- Il y avait un problème lors de la rédaction avec Safari sur iOS. Lors que vous écriviez un résumé des modifications, vous ne pouviez pas publier les modifications. Cela est maintenant résolu. [8]
- Sur iOS, la barre d’outils disparait parfois lorsque l’on fait défiler la page. Cela sera bientôt corrigé. [9]
- Les wikis peuvent définir leurs propres messages d’interface via la modification du wiki. En raison d’un problème, pour certains messages modifiés, une ancienne version de ces messages était utilisée. Cela incluait sitenotice et d’autres parties importantes de l’interface. Cela a été corrigé vers 16 h le 22 mars (UTC). Certains utilisateurs déconnectés risquent de continuer de voir le message incorrect, auquel cas purger la page résoudra le problème. [10]

- Plusieurs wikis expérimentent actuellement la modification de section avec l’éditeur visuel sur mobile. Plus d’informations sont disponibles.
- Les administrateurs sur Wikipédia en français et en polonais peuvent bloquer quelqu’un de la modification d’une page ou d’un espace de noms. Si votre wiki souhaite obtenir ces possibilités de blocages avant qu’ils soient disponibles sur tous les wikis, vous pouvez le dire aux développeurs. [12][13]
Problèmes
- La plupart des wikis ne seront disponibles qu’en lecture 30 minutes le 11 avril à 5 h (UTC). Cela est dû à un problème matériel. Vous pouvez voir une liste des wikis affectés. [14]
- Une mise à jour de la cartographie a causé des problèmes les 29 et 30 mars. Elle a été annulée. [15]
- Les pages de certains Wikivoyages ont connu des problèmes avec la ligne de titre tout en haut. Cela a été corrigé. [16]
Changements à venir cette semaine
- Lorsque vous écrivez le résumé de votre modification, l’éditeur visuel cherchera parmi vos résumés de modification récents au cas où vous souhaiteriez en réutiliser un. Cela fonctionne à la fois en modes visuel et wikicode sur bureau. Cela fonctionne également sur le site mobile. [17]
- Les wikis Wikimédia vont obtenir un réducteur d’URL. Il fonctionnera à partir du 11 avril. Plus d’informations sont disponibles. [18]
- Le mot magique

va cesser de fonctionner pour des raisons de performance. Lors de la prévisualisation d’une page, il retournera" "

(trait d’union). Dans un premier temps, seuls les espaces de noms de contenu vont être affectés. [19] - La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera installée sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 9 avril. Elle sera installée sur tous les wikis hormis la majorité des Wikipédias le 10 avril et enfin sur toutes les Wikipédias restantes le 11 avril (calendrier).

- Vous pouvez participer à la réunion de conseil technique sur IRC. Cette réunion est destinée à permettre aux développeurs bénévoles d’être conseillés dans leurs manœuvres. Elle aura lieu le 10 avril à 15 h (UTC). Voyez comment participer.
Changements à venir
- Il va devenir possible de prévisualiser des références, en plaçant le pointeur de la souris sur le lien. La prévisualisation de la référence s’affichera alors dans une boite surgissante. Ce système fonctionnera très similairement aux Aperçus de page. Cela évite d’avoir à se rendre au pied d’une page pour voir une référence. Cette fonctionnalité sera très bientôt disponible en bêta sur Wikipédia en allemand et en arabe. [20][21]
- Les données JSON fournies par Wikidata vont changer de forme : les conteneurs vides seront sérialisés en objets vides. Ce changement casse la compatibilité et va ainsi affecter les outils utilisant les données JSON et les API. Il sera effectif le 30 avril. Vous pouvez lire des précisions et voir comment tester votre code.

- L’URL de la fonction de recherche avancée présente maintenant les espaces de noms dans lesquels vous recherchez. Le champ de sélection des espaces de noms est enroulé par défaut sur la page de recherche. Vous pouvez aussi ajouter de nouveaux champs à l’interface de recherche à l’aide d’un crochet. [24][25][26]
