Hi Charles- I noticed the translation link on your en user page and drifted across to take a look. Out of curiosity I compared the oldest and newest versions here to see what you were working on and noticed lassée at the beginning of the second paragraph of the Foundation section, a past participle I hadn't met before. I think a more accurate read on that sentence would be: ...weary of/wearied by her husband William...'s numerous affairs/adulteries, or: weary of the adulterous behaviour of her husband..., especially of his liaison with....
