- Bonjour BerwaldBis , Bonjour EugeneZelenko ,
- I contact you regarding the possible deletion of the file Orgues-mélodium d'Alexandre père et fils.jpg. I do not see how this picture is against the policy of Commons, because it is in the public domain. Could you please explain why it is flagged for deletion?
- Best regards,--CoffeeEngineer (discuter) 14 août 2021 à 13:12 (CEST)
- If work is in public domain, proper license tag must be used. Creative Commons licenses are artifact of 21st century. --EugeneZelenko (discuter) 14 août 2021 à 16:04 (CEST)
- Bonjour CoffeeEngineer et EugeneZelenko ! The license has been clarified, and I have removed the Commons warning accordingly. Indeed, the public domain is not in doubt, the edition of the work dating from 1855 (https://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb300096811)... Should I also remove the bot message here? Thank you! --BerwaldBis (discuter) 16 août 2021 à 01:02 (CEST)
