"diverses possessions à travers le monde"

modifier

Apologies for using English here, je peut lire français mais writing it is more difficult. This article is inaccurate in including places like Pitcairn, South Georgia and Diego Garcia as part of the United Kingdom. The British model doesn't follow the DOM-TOM idea of considering overseas territories to be integral parts of the country. None of these places are part of the UK, and are self-governing to varying degrees. I know there is a note at the top of the page that makes it clear that the UK is defined as including these territories for the purposes of this article, but really there's no justification for doing things that way. If you have a look at the English version of this article at en:extreme points of the United Kingdom you'll see that it only includes places in the UK itself under that heading, and adds the Channel Islands etc under a seperate "British Isles" heading.
