Maurice FitzMaurice FitzGerald, 2e Comte de Desmond (mort en 1357) (Maurice Óg) il est le fils de Maurice FitzGerald [1],[2] et de sa première épouse , Catherine fille de Richard Óg de Burgh, comte d'Ulster;[3]

Maurice FitzMaurice épouse Béatrice de Stafford, fille de Ralph de Stafford, 1er comte de Stafford et de Margaret Audley, mais il meurt sans descendance masculine, et il a comme successeur comme comte de Desmond son demi-fr̠ère Gerald FitzGerald[1],[2]. Sa veuve se remarie avec Thomas Ros, 4e Baron Ros (en) environ un an après sa mort[4]. Il est inhumé dans l'abbaye de Tralee[5].
