Lien épais

Un lien épais est un hyperlien qui pointe vers plusieurs destinations.

« Les hyperliens qui sont attachés au même design object peuvent être regroupés dans un lien épais pour des besoins de représentation, et l'activation du lien épais aura pour effet d'offrir un menu des liens qu'il contient (cf. hyperlink history list), à partir duquel les liens individuels peuvent être activés. »

Le concept est également traité dans le modèle étendu de Dexter par Kaj Grønbæk et R. Trigg^[2], qui citent l'Instructional Design Environment^[3].

Maintenant que des navigateurs web comme Opera, Firefox, Safari, et Internet Explorer 7 supportent la navigation par onglets, il est potentiellement possible qu'un lien ouvre plusieurs onglets, permettant aux utilisateurs d'accéder à plusieurs destinations en un clic de souris. Ce concept a précédé le World Wide Web^[4].
