English: Aerial view of William L. Jess Dam, formerly known as Lost Creek Dam, on the Rogue River in Jackson County, Oregon, USA. The dam impounds Lost Creek Lake. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers constructed the dam in 1977 for flood control and water supply. The dam was renamed William L. Jess Dam by an act of Congress in 1996. View is to the east.
