DescriptionSeal Sing Buri.png	English: Seal of Sing Buri Province of Thailand in accordance to the announcement for official seals of Thai province, print in the Royal Thai Government Gazette in 2004. ไทย: เครื่องหมายราชการของจังหวัดสิงห์บุรี (ตราประจำจังหวัดสิงห์บุรี) ตามประกาศสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี เรื่อง กำหนดภาพเครื่องหมายราชการ ตามพระราชบัญญัติเครื่องหมายราชการ พุทธศักราช 2482 (ฉบับที่ 214) [ว่าด้วยการกำหนดเครื่องหมายราชการประจำจังหวัด 75 จังหวัด] ซึ่งได้ประกาศใช้แทนตราประจำจังหวัดแบบเดิมอย่างเป็นทางการนับแต่ พ.ศ. 2547 เป็นต้นมา (ยึดถือตามวันที่ประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษา) ตามประกาศดังกล่าว จึงถือว่าภาพนี้มีฐานะเป็นเครื่องหมายราชการ ตามพระราชบัญญัติเครื่องหมายราชการ พุทธศักราช 2482 ลักษณะและความหมายของดวงตรา ปรากฏความตามที่บรรยายในราชกิจจานุเบกษาดังนี้ ความหมาย เมื่อเดือน ๓ ปลายปีระกา พ.ศ. ๒๓๐๘ ชาวสิงห์บุรี เมืองวิเศษชัยชาญและสรรคบุรี โดยการนำของคนไทยชั้นหัวหน้าสำคัญ ๑๑ คน ได้ซ่องสุมชาวบ้านรวม ๖๐๐ คน มาพึ่งพระอาจารย์ธรรมโชติผู้ทรงวิทยาคมตั้งค่ายสู้รบกับทหารของเนเมียวสีหบดีแม่ทัพพม่าที่บ้านบางระจัน เขตเมืองสิงห์บุรี ด้วยความรักชาติ สามัคคี และเสียสละ จนสามารถเอาชนะทหารพม่าได้ถึง ๗ ครั้ง แต่ด้วยกำลังพลและอาวุธที่เสียเปรียบมาก ในการรบครั้งที่ ๘ เมื่อวันจันทร์ ปีจอ พ.ศ. ๒๓๐๙ พม่าจึงตีค่ายบางระจันได้สำเร็จ รัฐบาลโดยกรมศิลปากร ได้สร้างอนุสาวรีย์วีรชนชาวบ้านบางระจันขึ้นเพื่อให้ลูกหลาน ไทยได้รำลึกถึงตลอดไป พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ ๙ เสด็จพระราชดำเนินทรงเปิดอนุสาวรีย์เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีที่ ๒๙ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๑๙ ทางราชการจังหวัดสิงห์บุรี พร้อมด้วยประชาชนทุกหมู่เหล่า ตำรวจและทหารสามเหล่าทัพได้พร้อมใจกันทำพิธีสักการะสดุดีวีรชนชาวบ้านบางระจันสิงห์บุรี ในวันที่ ๔ กุมภาพันธ์ ของทุกปี รูปแบบ เป็นรูปโครงร่าง ๑๑ วีรชนสีดำ อยู่บนพื้นสีแดงภายในโล่ (เครื่องป้องกันอาวุธ) ชนิดกลม ขอบโล่ถัดจากพื้นสีแดงมีวงกลมสีขาว สีน้ำเงิน และสีแดง มีขนาดและสัดส่วน เช่นเดียวกับพื้นแถบธงชาติไทยออกไปตามลำดับ ใต้รูปโครงร่างวีรชนมีข้อความ จังหวัดสิงห์บุรี เป็นอักษรสีดำโค้งไปตามส่วนล่างของขอบโล่ กรณีประดับตราประจำจังหวัดบนผืนธงให้ตราอยู่กึ่งกลางผืนธงพื้นสีแดงขนาดมาตรฐานธงชาติไทย และให้ตัดวงกลมสีแดงวงนอกสุดออกเพื่อกลมกลืนกัน
