English: Palace of Darius the Great in Persepolis ("The Persian City"), situated 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of the city of Shiraz in Fars Province, Iran. The UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979 dates back to 515 BC and it was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire.
Français : Le palais de Darius le Grand à Persépolis. Cette ville antique, située à 60 km de Chiraz (Iran), est classée patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO depuis 1979. Fondée en 515 av. J.C, elle fut l'une des capitales de l'Empire achéménide.
