English: The film-themed Hollywood and Vine subway station on the Red Line has the most elaborate design of any Metro station. The multi-story column references the grand columns of Grauman's Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, the ceiling of the track area is entirely covered with metal film reels, and the blue strips running horizontally along the outer walls resemble movie film. Underground, of course. |
