English: HMS Victory Cutter 1- Portsmouth 1805 Re-enactment in Portsmouth Harbour. This is a replica 25ft cutter of the type used by HMS Victory. It can either be rowed by 6 men, or sailed using the two dipping lugsails as shown. It was one of the commonest work boats of the Nelsonian navy. Taken from Gosport ferry during the occasion of " Meet your Navy 2008" HMS Intrepid can be seen in the background, still awaiting its fate. [1]
