Who knows, on the other hand, if Pope Luciani wanted to also remember the mountains of his native town? ... If we want to conclude with a somewhat daring interpretation, let us say that the new Pope, arrived at the foot of the mountain of his pontificate and, in his humility, a little uncertain about his strength, he lifts his eyes and discovers over the mountains, like the Magi, a splendid starlight that illuminates him and gives him good hope to reach the top. And this applies, deep down, to all of us. May our life be a continuous ascension, illuminated by the light that comes from above, the light of faith, the light of Christ the Lord, the light that the teachings of His Vicar on Earth give us.
