DescriptionAustin 1100 Mk 2 two door 1098cc July 1969.JPG
English: Austin 1100 Mk2
The Mk 2 retained the(probably more expensive) chrome ribbed grill which had been an Austin hallmark for over ten years. But the grill on the Mk 2 was wider than that on the Mk 1. The Mk 3 would dispense with this grill entirely and replace it with a (probably cheaper to produce) black grill crossed by a single horizontal bar for the Austin 1100 (and three close together horizontal bars for the 1300).
I took this picture myself and hereby release it into the public domain to the full extent possible in relevant jurisdictions.
