Description

Akram al-Hawrani, the socialist leader of Syria, who became Speaker of Parliament in 1957. Hawrani was the most inspiring leader of the Baath Party in the 1950s, and was responsible for the class divide that rocked Syria, between the landowners and the rural farmers, for the first half of the 20th century.

  • Article 24 - "Protection of audio - visual, broadcast, televised or cinematography work shall be enforceable for fifty years as of the date of producing the work."
  • Article 25 - "Photographic, fine arts or plastic arts shall be enforceable for ten years as of the date of producing such work."
