Eason Chan (chinois traditionnel : 陳奕迅 ; pinyin : Chén Yìxùn, en Jyutping : Can4 jik6 seon3), né le à Hong Kong est un chanteur chinois appartenant au mouvement Mandopop, Cantopop. Il est l'un des chanteurs les plus connus en Chine depuis 1997. Avec Sam Hui et Jacky Cheung, il est considéré comme étant l'un des trois grands dieux de la chanson à Hong Kong.

Son album U87 a été nommé par Time Magazine comme étant « l'un des cinq albums asiatiques à acheter » en 2005. Eason Chan chante en cantonais mais aussi en mandarin pour atteindre un plus large public en Chine continentale.

Soutien au coton produit dans la région autonome ouïghoure du Xinjiang modifier

Le 25 mars 2021, la société d'Eason Chan, My Kan Wonderland Limited, annonce sur Weibo qu'elle « boycotterait résolument tout comportement diffamant la Chine » et qu'elle mettrait fin à son rôle d'ambassadeur de la marque pour Adidas, ce qui entraîne une réaction publique contre Chan[3],[4]. L'annonce intervient après qu'Adidas et d'autres membres de la Better Cotton Initiative ont publiquement décidé de ne pas utiliser de coton provenant du Xinjiang[3],[5] et également à la suite d'une enquête de la BBC ayant révélé que le travail forcé des Ouïghours était utilisé dans la région[4],[6].
