Use and accepted parameters modifier
This template is intended to create a notification on the talk page of an article when a file used in that article is proposed for deletion on commons.
The notification will be automatically added by a bot (NaggoBot (d · c · b)) rather than manually. The page will as be added to the category "Page containing a file proposed for deletion on Commons". After the file is deleted or kept the nocat parameter will also be added automatically by the bot.
A list of all the images proposed for deletion and used on Wikipedia in English is available here.
The parameters are:
file: name of the file concerned;
reason: reason given for the proposed deletion;
sub-page: link to the sub-page of the deletion proposal, may be empty if the file is proposed for deletion for lack of source, license or permission;
nocat: if specified, the page no longer appears in the category "Category:Page containing a file proposed for deletion on Commons".
