Jerome Fleisch, né le 2 avril 1980 à Walthamstow, plus connu sous le nom de ring Jody Fleisch, est un catcheur anglais. Il a catché à la Frontier Wrestling Alliance, One Pro Wrestling et la Real Quality Wrestling.

Carrière modifier

Début modifier

Fleisch étudie le taekwondo, le ninjutsu et le ju-jitsu pendant trois ans avant de débuter le catch. Quand Fleisch débute à la NWA UK Hammerlock, il a 16 ans, il fait alors équipe avec Jonny Storm. Fleisch catche alors au Royaume-Uni, aux Pays-Bas notamment.

Michinoku Pro modifier

Fleisch part en 1999 pour rejoindre la Michinoku Pro au Japon où il participe à la Fukumen World League 1999 sous le nom de "Dakko Chan" et où il est masqué. En finale, Dakko Chan perd dans un mask vs. mask match face à the "White Bear" (Jason Cross).

Frontier Wrestling Alliance modifier

Durant l'été 2001, il se blesse à l'épaule. En février 2002, il fait son retour à la Frontier Wrestling Alliance, et participe au tournoi King of England, il bat Doug Williams en finale.

Le 28 juillet 2002, Fleisch bat Flash Barker pour remporter la ceinture FWA Heavyweight pour la première fois. Le 13 octobre à FWA British Uprising, Jody Fleisch bat Flash Barker dans un Ladder match pour récupérer le titre FWA Heavyweight.

À FWA London Calling le 25 octobre, Christopher Daniels bat Fleisch et Doug Williams et s'empare de la ceinture FWA Heavyweight, et devient le premier catcheur non-britannique à remporter le titre.

Le 13 novembre 2004, Jody Fleisch fait son retour après une année d'absence à la suite de la pétition de Jonny Storm. Après le main event (James Tighe versus AJ Styles), Fleisch est battu par Tighe et Mark Belton. Le 26 février 2005, Fleisch annonce son retour à la FWA.

Circuit indépendant américain et Européen modifier

En juin 2002, Fleisch catche à la Premier Wrestling Federation, Combat Zone Wrestling et la Ring of Honor. Il participe ensuite au CZW Best of the Best.

Depuis 2004, Jody Fleisch catche à travers l'Europe à la Irish Whip Wrestling, International Catch Wrestling Alliance, IPW:UK et à la Universal Uproar. Fleisch part à la 1 Pro Wrestling et devient tag team champions avec son ami Jonny Storm.

Ring of Honor modifier

Le 28 décembre 2002 à ROH Final Battle, il bat The Amazing Red et participe au Special K.

Tout au long de 2003, Fleisch catche dans les deux promotions ROH et FWA. Il fait face alors à des catcheurs comme Juventud Guerrera, Low-Ki, Christopher Daniels, The Backseat Boyz et James Tighe. En septembre, Fleisch est obligé de s'arrêter après de multiples blessures, il a alors 23 ans.

Il participe au tour britannique de la ROH en août 2006 et participe au premier King of Europe tournament en avril 2007. Il perd durant le premier tour face à Ryo Saito de la Dragon Gate.

Le 19 août 2018 lors de ROH Honor Re-United Day 3, il perd avec Jonny Storm contre les Young Bucks^[4].
