Polski: Fotografie przedstawiają mieszkańców Oświęcimia – zarówno chrześcijan, jak i Żydów – podczas kopania rowów, prawdopodobnie przeciwlotniczych. Darczyńca wspomina, że były to rowy przeciwczołgowe, jednak analiza fotografii nie potwierdza raczej takiej tezy. Miało to miejsce na przełomie lipca i sierpnia 1939 roku. Zdjęcia zostały udostępnione w 1985 roku w Archiwum Państwowego Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau w Oświęcimiu przez oświęcimianina Stanisława Neumanna. The donor mentions that these were anti-tank ditches, but the analysis of the photographs does not confirm such a thesis. The event took place at the turn of July and August 1939.
