Stupavsky 1646/47 (1650 körül) Stupavsky Márton (Sztupawszky) Okrutában szerepel, és Mihály Stupavsky Kiscsernán. Okruta: tót falu, Sáros megyében, a Tarcza mellett.

A Stupavsky család eredete még nem tisztázott. Valószínűleg a pozsonyi főváros áradásából származó család volt, amely nevét Stomfa (Sztupava) városról kapta. A család első említését a családi címer közvetetten bizonyítja. Ezt az 1616-os említést Stupavsky Miklós (Ztupawszky) kapta meg Nagyszombat városából, majd Ján Cernan szenátor Nagyszombat környékéről említette őket, és valószínűleg csak 1616 után költöztek Trencsén területére. Mihályra (meghalt 1678 után) 1646/47-ben emlékezett fia. 1641-ben ideiglenes Sztrecsényben töltött be feladatokat. Felesége Anna, Keresztes Pál lánya volt. Mihály utódai a 17. század második felében éltek Kiscsernán, Nemőcön, Okrutában és Práznócon. A következő században azonban eltűntek Trencsén fővárosából. 1725-ben Bazin-on Stupavský Mihály (meghalt 1678 után) unokái éltek Stupavsky Pál, Tamás és András. Kiscsernából jöttek. Utódaik a következő évtizedekben ott éltek. A család címere a Bazini Stupavský András (a kuruc katona) 1710-ből származó pecsétjéből ismert. Ovális pajzsból áll, félhold és egy csillag. Az ékszer két sasszárny közé helyezett pajzsjelet mutat (lásd jobbra). A Stupavsky család címere alapján a nemesi Hontpozmány nemzetségből való származást jelzi. Genetikai szempontból ez még nem bizonyított. Véleményünk szerint a család eredetét a stomfai német arisztokrata Dietrich családban kell keresni, amely a 16. században ebben a városban működött, és nagyon hasonló címert használt, mint a Stupavsky család.

Likewise, the Office will not register a government edict issued by any foreign government or any translation prepared by a government employee acting within the course of his or her official duties."
