- Quatre nouveaux wikis ont été créés :
Problèmes
- La semaine dernière, les utilisateurs qui avaient visité Meta-Wiki ou Wikimedia Commons avant d’être déconnectés de ces wikis ne pouvaient plus se reconnecter. Le problème est maintenant résolu. [5]
- La semaine dernière, certaines boites et menus surgissants s’affichaient avec une taille de police incorrecte. C’est maintenant résolu. [6]
Changements à venir cette semaine
- La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera installée sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 14 novembre. Elle sera installée sur tous les wikis hormis la majorité des Wikipédias le 15 novembre et enfin sur toutes les Wikipédias restantes le 16 novembre (calendrier).
Futurs changements
- Les aperçus de référence vont être installés par défaut sur de nombreux wikis. Il s’agit d’encadrés surgissants pour les références, de manière similaire à la fonctionnalité d’aperçu des pages. Vous pouvez les désactiver pour ne plus les voir. Si vous utilisez les gadgets « Reference Tooltips » ou « Navigation Popups », l’aperçu des références ne fonctionnera pas. Le déploiement est prévu pour le 22 novembre 2023.
- Des évènements battement de cœur (canary, hearbeat) vont être ajoutés aux flux des évènements Wikimedia à partir du 11 décembre. Il est conseillé aux utilisateurs des flux de filtrer ces évènements en rejetant les évènements où
meta.domain == "canary"
. Les mises à jour de Pywikibot et de wikimedia-streams rejetteront ces évènements par défaut. [7]

- Linked Data for Libraries LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group Working Hour November 20th, 2023: Over the summer and into the fall the LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group will be offering a series of Wikidata Working Hours to give folks an opportunity to try out various Wikidata-related skills and tools by assembling a data set of diverse library and information science (LIS) materials (articles, conference proceedings, books) and adding it to Wikidata. Wikidata Working Hours provide hands-on Wikidata experience in a supportive space. We hope you will join us if you are interested in learning more about Wikidata, exploring LIS literature, and have been looking for a fun Wikidata project to contribute to. The seventh Wikidata Working Hour will cover the Author Disambiguator tool, which helps users assign authors to articles.During the session we will demonstrate how to use the tool on an author who was created during a previous working hour, and another who doesn't exist in Wikidata yet. After the demonstration, participants are encouraged to try the tool themselves during the rest of the working hour. This session will build on the work done in previous Working Hours by connecting authors to the articles they have written. This session will be recorded and the recording shared on the event page

- Plusieurs petits changements visuels vont avoir lieu dans l’habillage Vector 2022 pour les menus déroulants, la largeur des colonnes… Ils ont déjà eu lieu sur quatre Wikipédia la semaine dernière ; si aucun problème n’est relevé, ils auront lieu sur tous les wikis cette semaine. Ces changements rendront possible l’ajout de nouveaux menus pour la lisibilité et le mode sombre. [13]

- Concernant la réactivation de l’extension Graph, pour accélérer le processus, Vega 2 ne sera pas pris en charge et seuls certains protocoles seront disponibles au départ. Votre opinion concernant ce projet est la bienvenue.

- Sur Wikimedia Commons, quelques petites améliorations de l’interface utilisateur ont eu lieu pour l’étape du « choix entre travail personnel ou non » dans l’assistant au téléversement. Cela fait partie du projet d’amélioration de l’assistant au téléversement de Commons réalisé par l’équipe Contenu structuré. [22][23]
Problèmes
- Il y a eu un problème dans l’affichage de la Page d’accueil des nouveaux avec le « module d’impact » et ses graphiques de pages vues. Cela a duré quelques jours début décembre, mais c’est maintenant corrigé. [24][25]

- La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera installée sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 12 décembre. Elle sera installée sur tous les wikis hormis la majorité des Wikipédias le 13 décembre et enfin sur toutes les Wikipédias restantes le 14 décembre (calendrier). [26][27]

- Le prochain numéro des Actualités techniques ne sera publié que le 8 janvier 2024 en raison de la période des fêtes.
Changements à venir cette semaine
- La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera installée sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 19 décembre. Elle sera installée sur tous les wikis hormis la majorité des Wikipédias le 20 décembre et enfin sur toutes les Wikipédias restantes le 21 décembre (calendrier). Il n’y aura pas de nouvelle version de MediaWiki la semaine prochaine. [28][29]
- À partir du 18 décembre, il ne sera plus possible d’activer les Discussions structurées sur une page de discussion utilisateur avec la fonctionnalité bêta. Celle-ci reste disponible pour les utilisateurs qui souhaitent au contraire désactiver les discussions structurées. Ceci fait partie du travail de dépréciation des Discussions structurées. [30]
- Les redirections vont être pleinement prises en charge dans l’espace de noms Module. La fonctionnalité « Renommer une page » va laisser une redirection correctement reconnue par le logiciel (par exemple, invisible dans Spécial:UnconnectedPages). Les redirections manuelles vont aussi être prises en charge. [31]

- La documentation JavaScript de MediaWiki va passer à un nouveau format. Pendant le changement, l’ancienne documentation sera accessible sur la version 1.41. Vos retours concernant le nouveau site sont les bienvenus sur la page de discussion du projet.
