- Les sites mobiles Wikimédia ne chargent maintenant plus les images tant que l’utilisateur ne les voit pas. Cela permet d’économiser des transferts de données et donc de charger plus rapidement les pages. [1]
- Lorsque vous modifiez un tableau avec l’ÉditeurVisuel, appuyer sur Tab dans la dernière case d’une ligne déplacera le curseur dans la première case de la ligne suivante. Maj+Tab dans la première case d’une ligne le déplacera dans la dernière case de la ligne précédente. [2]

- Le nom du bouton « $save » va changer. Le bouton indiquera « Publier la page » lorsque vous enregistrez une nouvelle page. Il indiquera « Publier les modifications » lors de la modification d’une page existante. [3][4]
- La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 18 août. Elle sera disponible sur les wikis hormis Wikipédia le 31 août. Elle sera disponible sur toutes les Wikipédias le 1er septembre (calendrier).

- Les cartes interactives sont désormais intégrées dans un cadre par défaut, afin d’avoir un rendu plus proche des autres éléments multimédia. Cette modification concerne tous les Wikivoyage, Méta-Wiki et les Wikipédias en catalan, hébreu et macédonien. [6]
- Un tableau de validation des adresses IP sera affiché lors de la prévisualisation de MediaWiki:Captcha-ip-whitelist à la place de la seule liste des adresses. Celui-ci vous permettra de savoir plus facilement si une règle fonctionnera ou non. [7]

[8][9] - Il arrive parfois qu’aucune notification ne soit envoyée lorsque vous mentionnez un autre utilisateur. Une nouvelle option, désactivée par défaut, vous permettre de recevoir une notification lorsqu’une mention a déclenché une notification ou d’être informé lorsque ça n’a pas fonctionné. [10][11]
- La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera mise en place sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 6 septembre. Elle sera installée sur tous les wikis hormis la majorité des Wikipédias le 7 septembre et enfin sur toutes les Wikipédias restantes le 8 septembre (calendrier).

peuvent à présent utiliser les données géographiques d’Open Street Map si ce dernier a défini une région et fourni un ID dans Wikidata. Vous pouvez utiliser ces données pour dessiner sur la carte et ajouter des informations. [14][15]
