Changements récents

• Certaines syntaxes de partitions musicales ne fonctionnent plus et ont peut-être besoin d'être mises à jour. Vous pouvez vérifier Category:Page avec erreurs de rendu de partition sur votre wiki pour obtenir une liste des pages comportant des erreurs.

Problèmes

• Les partitions musicales étaient incapables de restituer les paroles dans certaines langues en raison de l'absence de polices de caractères. Ce problème a été corrigé. Si votre langue préfère une police différente, veuillez déposer une demande sur Phabricator. [1]

Changements à venir cette semaine

• Les paramètres d'obtention des jetons dans l'API MediaWiki ont été modifiés en 2014. L'ancienne méthode ne fonctionnera plus à partir du 1er septembre. Les scripts, les bots et les outils qui utilisent les paramètres d'avant le changement de 2014 doivent être mis à jour. Vous pouvez en lire plus.
• La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera installée sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 31 août. Elle sera présente sur les wikis non-Wikipedia et sur quelques Wikipédias le 1 septembre. Elle sera installée sur tous les wikis le 2 septembre. (calendrier).

• Vous pourrez lire mais pas modifier Commons pendant quelques minutes le 6 septembre. Cela se produira vers 05:00 UTC. Cela est lié à la maintenance de la base de données.

  • In the frame of a Google Summer of Code project a new tool, called WikidataComplete was created. The tool smoothly integrates in the Wikidata UI and proposes new statements extracted by machine learning algorithms. Editors are asked to either approve or reject them. • Development
  • Continued work on the Mismatch Finder. We are now working on creating the page where mismatches will be listed for review.
  • Worked on support for "separators" parameter for distinct value constraints (phab:T277855)
  • Made it possible to restrict constraints to certain entity types (phab:T269724)
  • Added a new constraint type to ensure that the Item has a label in a particular language (phab:T195178)
  • Added a button for the Query Builder to query.wikidata.org to make the Query builder discoverable (phab:T276210) - integration in the example dialog is still in progress (phab:T280229)
  • We started work on some behind-the-scenes improvements to the way Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects are notified about a change that affects their articles. (They need this notification so the article can be purged and show the latest data from Wikidata again. It is also required for showing the edit in the watchlist and recent changes on those wikis. This should have no visible impact for editors but is needed maintenance work.

Changements récents

• Les wikis dotés des fonctionnalités de Croissance participaient à un test A/B depuis leur mise en place, ce qui impliquait que certains nouveaux ne bénéficiaient pas de ces fonctionnalités. Maintenant, tous les nouveaux de 21 des plus petits de ces wikis bénéficieront de ces fonctionnalités. [4]

• Il n’y aura pas de nouvelle version de MediaWiki cette semaine.

Futurs changements

• En 2017, la bibliothèque jQuery intégrée a été mise à jour de la version 1 à la version 3, avec une couche de compatibilité. Cette phase de migration va bientôt s’achever, pour rendre le site plus rapide à charger pour tout le monde. Si vous maintenez un gadget ou script utilisateur, vérifiez si vous avez des erreurs JQMIGRATE et corrigez-les le cas échéant, sinon elles feront échouer le script. [5][6]
• L’an dernier, la Wikipédia en portugais commençait une expérimentation pour rendre obligatoire la connexion pour modifier des pages. Le rapport d’impact de cet essai est achevé. Pour poursuivre l’étude, l’équipe des Outils anti-harcèlement recherche des projets qui voudraient expérimenter la restriction de la modification des pages par les IP sur leur wiki pendant une courte période. • 45 nouvelles Wikipédia ont maintenant accès aux fonctionnalités de Croissance. [7]
• Une majorité de Wikipédias a maintenant accès aux fonctionnalités de Croissance. L’équipe Croissance a publié une page de FAQ sur ces fonctionnalités. Cette FAQ, traduisible, décrit les fonctionnalités, comment les utiliser, comment les configurer…

• Tous les wikis seront en lecture seule pendant quelques minutes le 14 septembre, à partir de 14 heures UTC. [8]

Changements à venir cette semaine

• La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera installée sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 14 septembre. Elle sera installée sur tous les wikis hormis la majorité des Wikipédias le 15 septembre et enfin sur toutes les Wikipédias restantes le 16 septembre (calendrier).
• À partir de cette semaine, la Wikipédia en italien recevra les mises à jour du logiciel le mercredi, au lieu du jeudi. Avec ce changement, les bogues seront remarqués et corrigés plus tôt. [9]
• Vous pouvez à nouveau ajouter des liens interlangues dans la barre latérale de la nouvelle apparence de Vector. Pour ce faire, vous devez connecter la page à un élément Wikidata. Dans la nouvelle apparence de Vector, les liens interlangues sont déplacés, mais le nouveau sélecteur de langue ne permet pas encore d’en ajouter. [10]
• L’outil de coloration syntaxique met en forme le code avec différentes couleurs. Il prend maintenant en charge 3 nouveaux langages. De plus, golang peut maintenant être utilisé comme alias pour le langage de programmation Go et un mode spécial output a été ajouté pour montrer la sortie d’un programme. [11][12]

• Development
  • The new Streaming Updater for Wikidata Query Service will be in production 18 Oct 2021
  • Working on changing the way sitelinks to Wikimedia Commons are created from Item data; now using topic's main category (P910) and category related to list (P1754) before Commons category (P373) (T232927)
  • Continuing the work on the Mismatch Finder. This week we focused on the remaining groundwork for showing the first mismatches for review.
  • Continuing to work on improvements to the underlying system of how edits are propagated from Wikidata to the other Wikimedia projects.
  • Implemented two improvements for constraints: the “distinct values” constraint type now supports the “separator” parameter (phab:T277855) and we no longer check qualifiers on some unusual™ properties (phab:T235292)
  • Adding tags to some of the remaining UI edits that didn't get them yet for edits on Lexemes (phab:T290950)

Changements récents

• Les fonctionnalités de croissance sont maintenant déployées sur presque toutes les Wikipédias. Pour la majorité des petites Wikipedias, les fonctionnalités ne sont disponibles que pour les utilisateurs expérimentés, pour tester les fonctionnalités et les configurer. Les fonctionnalités seront disponibles pour les nouveaux arrivants à partir du 20 septembre 2021.
• MediaWiki avait une fonction qui mettait en forme les liens locaux vers des articles courts dans un style différent. Chaque utilisateur pouvait choisir la taille à partir de laquelle les pages étaient considérées comme des « ébauches » à mettre en évidence. Cette fonctionnalité avait de très mauvaises performances, et suite à une consultation, elle a été supprimée. [14]
• Une modification technique a été apportée à l’habillage MonoBook afin d'en faciliter la maintenance et l'entretien. Cela a entraîné quelques modifications mineures du HTML qui rendent le HTML de MonoBook cohérent avec les autres habillages. Des efforts ont été faits pour minimiser l'impact sur les contributeurs, mais vous pouvez contacter Jon (WMF) sur le wiki ou sur Phabricator si des problèmes sont signalés.

Problèmes

• Il y a eu un problème avec la recherche la semaine dernière. De nombreuses demandes de recherche n'ont pas fonctionné pendant deux heures en raison d'un redémarrage accidentel des serveurs de recherche. [15]

Changements à venir cette semaine

• La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera installée sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 21 septembre. Elle sera installée sur tous les wikis hormis la majorité des Wikipédias le 22 septembre et enfin sur tous les Wikis restants le 23 septembre (calendrier).
• L’API meta=proofreadpage a été modifiée. Le paramètre piprop a été renommé en prpiprop. Les utilisateurs de l'API doivent mettre à jour leur code pour éviter les avertissements de paramètres non reconnus. Les utilisateurs de Pywikibot doivent effectuer une mise à jour vers la version 6.6.0. [16]

Futurs changements

• L'outil de réponse sera déployé sur les derniers wikis dans les semaines à venir. Il fait actuellement partie des « Outils de discussion » dans les Fonctionnalités bêta sur la plupart des wikis. Vous pourrez le désactiver dans les préférences de modification. [17]
• Le changement précédemment annoncé concernant la façon d'obtenir des jetons de l'API a été reporté au 21 septembre en raison d'une incompatibilité avec Pywikibot. Les dresseurs de robots utilisant Pywikibot peuvent suivre T291202 pour connaître l'état d'avancement de la correction, et doivent prévoir de passer à la version 6.6.1 lorsqu'elle sera publiée.

Changements récents

• iOS 15 dispose d'une nouvelle fonction appelée Private Relay (site Web d'Apple). Elle permet de masquer l'adresse IP de l'utilisateur lorsqu'il utilise le navigateur Safari. C'est comme utiliser un VPN dans la mesure où nous voyons une autre adresse IP à la place. Il s'agit d'une fonctionnalité optionnelle, réservée à ceux qui paient un supplément pour iCloud. Elle sera proposée plus tard aux utilisateurs de Safari sur macOS. Il y a une discussion technique sur ce que cela signifie pour les wikis Wikimédia.

Problèmes

• Certains gadgets et scripts utilisateur ajoutent des éléments à la partie portlets (outils d'articles) de l'habillage. Une modification récente de l'HTML peut avoir donné à ces liens une taille de police différente. Cela peut être corrigé en ajoutant la classe CSS .vector-menu-dropdown-noicon. [18]

Changements à venir cette semaine

• La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera installée sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 28 septembre. Elle sera installée sur tous les wikis hormis la majorité des Wikipédias le 29 septembre et enfin sur toutes les Wikis restants le 30 septembre (calendrier).
• L'extension GettingStarted a été développée en 2013 et fournit un processus de démarrage pour les nouveaux propriétaires de compte dans quelques versions de Wikipédia. Cependant, les fonctionnalités de Croissance récemment développées offrent une meilleure expérience de démarrage. Puisque la grande majorité des Wikipédias ont maintenant accès aux fonctionnalités de Croissance, GettingStarted sera désactivé à partir du 4 octobre. [19]
• Un petit nombre d'utilisateurs ne pourront pas se connecter aux wikis de Wikimedia après le 30 septembre. Cela est dû au fait qu'un ancien certificat racine ne fonctionnera plus. • Une méthode plus efficace pour envoyer les modifications de Wikidata aux wikis Wikimedia qui les affichent a été activée pour les 10 wikis suivants : mediawiki.org, les Wikipedias en italien, en catalan, en hébreu et en vietnamien, la Wikisource en français, et les Wikivoygage, Wikibooks, Wiktionary et Wikinews en anglais. Si vous remarquez quelque chose d'étrange dans la façon dont les modifications de Wikidata apparaissent dans les modifications récentes ou dans votre liste de surveillance sur ces wikis, vous pouvez le faire savoir aux développeurs.

Changements à venir cette semaine

Si votre robot a besoin de le savoir, faites une requête de vérification séparée. De plus, la propriété aura la valeur false pour les entrées visibles ; auparavant, elle n'était pas incluse dans la réponse. [21]
• Un moyen plus efficace d'envoyer les modifications de Wikidata aux wikis Wikimedia qui les affichent sera activé pour tous les wikis en production. Si vous remarquez quelque chose d'étrange dans la façon dont les modifications de Wikidata apparaissent dans les modifications récentes ou dans votre liste de suivi, vous pouvez le faire savoir aux développeurs.

Futurs changements

• Vous pourrez bientôt recevoir des notifications inter-wiki dans l'application Wikipédia iOS. Vous pourrez également recevoir des notifications sous forme de notifications poussées. D'autres mises à jour pour les notifications suivront dans les versions ultérieures. [22]
• Les variables JavaScript wgExtraSignatureNamespaces, wgLegalTitleChars, et wgIllegalFileChars seront bientôt retirées de mw.config. Elles ne font pas partie des variables « stables » disponibles pour une utilisation dans un wiki avec JavaScript. [23]
• Les variables JavaScript wgCookiePrefix, wgCookieDomain, wgCookiePath, et wgCookieExpiration seront bientôt supprimées de mw.config. Les scripts devront utiliser à la place mw.cookie du module « mediawiki.cookie ». [24]

Changements à venir cette semaine

• La nouvelle version de MediaWiki sera installée sur les wikis de test et sur MediaWiki.org à partir du 12 octobre. Elle sera installée sur tous les wikis hormis la majorité des Wikipédias le 13 octobre et enfin sur toutes les Wikis restants le 14 octobre (calendrier).

• La préférence « numérotation automatique des titres » est supprimée. Vous pouvez lire les raisons et la discussion. Ce changement a été précédemment annoncé. Un extrait JavaScript est disponible et peut être utilisé pour créer un gadget sur les wikis qui veulent toujours prendre en charge la numérotation automatique.

  • Mismatch Finder: We are continuing the work on the review part of the system. We are now working on letting reviewers indicate if the mismatch is on Wikidata, the other database, both or neither.
  • Fixed a bug where it was possible for two Properties to have the same label in a given language by undoing/reverting an edit (phab:T289473)
  • Fixed a confusing error message that was being shown when trying to save geoshape / tabular data that doesn’t exist (phab:T285758)
  • Removing some unnecessary entity link formatting in edit summaries and special pages to improve performance (phab:T292203)
  • Fixing an issue with invalid dates that the API accepts but should not (phab:T289417)
  • Migrated all Wikimedia wikis to use the new change dispatching system. This system is responsible for notifying the other wikis about edits made on Wikidata that affect their articles so the article is refreshed and edits are added to recent changes and watchlists.
