Autres harems ?
modifierIl y a des sources qui évoquent le harem dans la Bible ; difficile de savoir d'après une lecture rapide si cette institution a existé historiquement chez les ANciens Hébreux, mais il me semble qu'il faudrait parler de ces témoignages "littéraires" :
- Avraham Malamat, « Is there a word for the royal harem in the Bible? The inside story », Mari and the Bible, Brill, 1998.
- On David's "Taking" and "Leaving" Concubines (2 Samuel 5:13; 15:16), Andrew E. Hill , Vol. 125, No. 1 (Spring, 2006), pp. 129-139 (11 pages) https://www.jstor.org/stable/27638350, https://doi.org/10.2307/27638350
- Cette étude semble mettre sur lemême pied les harems historiques et les harems "d'Israel" : "case studies of ancient Egypt, Assyria, Israel, Syria and Iran", Harem politics, Royal women and succession crises in the ancient Near East (c.1400–300 bce), By Lloyd Llewellyn-Jones, The Routledge History of Monarchy, https://www.taylorfrancis.com/chapters/edit/10.4324/9781315203195-31/harem-politics-lloyd-llewellyn-jones
