Amaurobius

Amaurobius est un genre d'araignées aranéomorphes de la famille des Amaurobiidae[1].

Distribution modifier

Les espèces de ce genre se rencontrent en zone holarctique sauf Amaurobius thoracicus d'Argentine et Amaurobius tristis d'Érythrée[1].

Ce genre a été décrit par C. L. Koch en 1837.

Walmus[2] a été placé en synonymie par Leech en 1972[3].
